Are my photos uploaded or stored on a server?

No. Dream Overlay edits your photos locally in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to a Dream Overlay server.

Where are My Dreams saved?

My Dreams are stored only in your browser on your own device. No account or server storage is required.

What does Autosave do?

Autosave stores your current editing session locally in your browser so it can be restored after an accidental refresh or closed tab. It does not send your work to a server.

How do I keep a permanent backup of a Dream?

Choose Save to My Dreams. Dream Overlay saves it locally and downloads a .dream file that you can keep, organize, share, and import later.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your browser-saved Dreams and Autosave session may be removed. Download your favorite Dreams as .dream files for safekeeping.

How do I compare before and after?

Use the Before/After slider below the canvas or hold the Spacebar to temporarily view the original photo.
